From 1-day tours to 2 to 8-day hikes, we'll guide you through this natural activity.

Prefer terra firma? We also offer mountain bike, VTC and electric-assist bike rentals in Souillac and Carlux. The Dordogne Valley will no longer hold any secrets for you!

PUT TOGETHER YOUR OWN INDEPENDENT 2 TO 8-DAY À LA CARTE TRIP

ORGANIZATION

Leave your vehicle in our secure parking lot in Souillac, and take advantage of the free shuttle service at 5.45pm the day before your departure, which will take you to your departure base between Pinsac and Argentat.

The following morning, from 9am, you will be able to gear up at your departure base. You will be given your equipment, which includes

  • Canoeing
  • Paggaie
  • Life jackets
  • Can
  • Tent and foam mattress
  • Transport of your luggage from base to base, with luggage labelling
  • The river plan

PLAN AHEAD

  • Quench your thirst (minimum 1.5 L of water per person) and picnic lunch
  • Plastic shoes or tennis shoes, laces tightly tied. Avoid flip-flops
  • Swimsuit, shorts, T-shirt, change of clothes
  • Glasses cord
  • Sun protection (sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, etc.)
  • Garbage bag for your garbage, which you can leave on arrival
  • Rope (to hold the boat in place or spread out your belongings)
  • First-aid kit
  • Lamp

CAMPING OR WILDERNESS BIVOUAC?

You can either sleep on the banks of the Dordogne or rent camping pitches (at your own expense). We provide you with sleeping equipment (tent and foam mattress), but don't forget to bring your cooking equipment (stove, saucepan, cutlery, glasses and plates) and a garbage can. Waste is not part of the scenery... If you're camping, you'll need to make your own reservations. We take care of transporting your luggage from reception to reception every day, free of charge.

Please note: There is no water, electricity or sanitary facilities at our canoe bases.
